Bratin Saha is the Vice President and General Manager of Machine Learning Platforms in the Amazon AI team. His team is responsible for creating the services and capabilities that power the AWS Machine Learning Platform. Prior to Amazon he worked at Nvidia and Intel leading different product groups spanning imaging and analytics, media proc essing, high performance computing, and software infrastructure. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (General Management Program), Yale University (PhD Computer Science), and Indian Institute of Technology (BS Computer Science). He has more than 70 patents granted (with another 50+ pending) and more than 30 papers in conferences/journals.

Dongho Kim is a co-founder and chief technology officer at PROWLER.io. Prior to his current role, he was part of VocalIQ which was acquired by Apple in 2015, where he did research on reinforcement learning for spoken dialogue systems. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Cambridge University Engineering Department. Dongho holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor’s degree both in Computer Science and Mathematics, from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). His research interests are various fields of machine learning and in particular decision making under uncertainty via reinforcement learning and POMDPs.

John is a research scientist at OpenAI and member of the founding team. He co-developed some of the most widely used reinforcement learning algorithms (TRPO and PPO) and software packages (OpenAI Gym and Baselines). He received a PhD in CS from UC Berkeley and a BS in Physics from Caltech. He was selected as one of MIT Technology Review’s ‘35 Innovators Under 35’ in 2018.

David is a Research Scientist at Google Brain. His research interests include Recurrent Neural Networks, Creative AI, and Evolutionary Computing. Prior to joining Google, He worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, where he co-ran the fixed-income trading business in Japan. He obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering Science and Applied Math from the University of Toronto.

Jin-Hwa is Research Scientist at SK T-Brain. He has been studying multimodal deep learning focused on visual question answering and other related topics. In 2017, he received Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning, and PhD Completion Scholarship by Seoul National University. He was Research Intern at Facebook AI Research (Menlo Park, CA) mentored by Yuandong Tian from January to May in 2017. In 2018, he received PhD degree from Seoul National University under the supervision of Professor Byoung-Tak Zhang. He was Software Engineer at SK Communications from 2011 to 2012.
